Rest assured with Wave Enhance, perfect for achieving optimal sleep and improving daily productivity

OSLO (September 5, 2024) –  Airthings, the world’s leading air quality tech company, announced today that Wave Enhance, the latest addition to its award-winning family of smart indoor air quality monitors, is officially shipping to consumers in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Designed in Scandinavia, Wave Enhance is ideal for bedrooms and home offices, where restful sleep and the ability to focus are essential. Wave Enhance integrates directly with the Airthings app, an “air quality coach” that offers insight into how factors such as carbon dioxide (CO2), temperature, humidity and light affect their family’s sleep. Wave Enhance features five indoor air quality sensors, including a high-precision NDIR CO2 sensor, and is now available for purchase on Airthings.com, Amazon and select retailers.

Introduced at CES 2024, Wave Enhance is reaching customers at the perfect time of year. Autumn is right around the corner, meaning a new school year is underway, and a shift to cooler temperatures inevitably leads to people in colder climates spending more time indoors - often without a regular infusion of fresh air. Research has demonstrated that elevated levels of CO2 can harm sleep quality and cognitive function. Whether it’s school, work, or simply feeling ready for the day, mitigating high levels of CO2  can play a helpful role in feeling like the most energized and sharpest version of yourself in the classroom, home office, and everyday life. With the help of Wave Enhance and its high-precision CO2 sensor, people everywhere can become more informed about how to balance their CO2 levels, ensuring that they can optimize their mental and physical wellness not only during sleep at night, but also when they’re getting work done by day.

In addition to its NDIR CO2 sensor, Wave Enhance also includes sensors for airborne chemicals (VOCs), temperature, humidity, and air pressure, as well as ambient noise and light. The Airthings app also offers Wave Enhance users a “Sleep Disruptors” report that tells you if the room’s air quality might be the reason you were tossing and turning all night, or losing out on quality sleep.

Indoor air quality can impact our ability to fully recharge, stay focused, stay healthy, and feel our best,” said Emma Tryti, CEO of Airthings. “Our new Wave Enhance is the ideal companion to our flagship View Plus air quality monitor, and together with our Airthings app, these products will help people sleep better and improve productivity.”

Compact, silent and battery-operated, Wave Enhance can easily be mounted on a wall, laid flat, or sit upright on a surface using the built-in table stand. Wave Enhance is also part of Airthings’ larger commitment to creating products that are designed with circular principles in mind. These principles focus on using responsible materials and manufacturing, reducing energy and carbon footprint, and enhancing the overall product experience, including its end-of-life. Wave Enhance is now officially available for purchase on Airthings.com as well as Amazon for $149.99 USD.
