Oslo, Norway (March 4, 2024) — Airthings (AIRX), the global leader in air quality and energy-saving solutions, announced that Emma Tryti will start as the new Chief Executive Officer today. Tryti is a widely respected leader in the Norwegian financial industry, with experience as the former Chief Commercial Officer eCommerce and Invoice at Vipps and as Chief Executive Officer of Kron, a market-leading investment app in the Norwegian market.
“I am honored to have the trust to lead this company through the next phase, creating profitable growth while serving our mission to empower the world to breathe better,” said Tryti. “People and businesses around the world are beginning to recognize how indoor air quality at home and at work impacts health, and it’s about time we shift the perception of our products from ‘nice to have’ to ‘must have’,” she added.
