Terms and Conditions for Airthings Referral Program


Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) that apply to the Airthings Referral Program referred to below (“Program”) before participating in the Program.


By creating, sending, accessing, using, etc. a Referral Discount, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to be bound by them. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between everyone who participates in the Program and the relevant Airthings entity.


  1. Eligibility: The Airthings Referral Program is open to legal residents of the 50 states in the United States (including D.C.), EEA/EU countries, the UK, and Canada who are eighteen years old or older (“Referrer”). Participation in the Program requires the Referrer to have an active Airthings Account. By enrolling in the Program, the Referrer acknowledges and agrees that Airthings will establish an account for them within the Airthings webstore and associated systems, utilizing information from their existing Airthings Account. This account creation is necessary for the issuance of unique Referral Discounts and for tracking referral campaign activity. Enrollment in the Program is provided at no cost to the Referrer. “New Customers” of the Program are Referrer’s personal friends, colleagues or relatives (in the same country as Referrer) who have been invited by the Referrer to participate and have not previously purchased an Airthings product(s), including from any store, retailer or partner of Airthings, on airthings.com or in the Airthings app.
  2. How the Program works: Referrers must follow the instructions on the “Refer a Friend” page in the Airthings app to generate their personal Referral Discount (“Referral Discount”) which they will be able to share with New Customers by text, email or social media. Each Referral Discount will be limited to a maximum of five (5) uses and will be valid for one calendar year or until the campaign is ended by Airthings, whichever comes first. The Referral Discount applies a specified discount (US$20, €20, £20, or CA$30, or other currencies/amounts depending on the region, or as otherwise specified on the Refer a Friend page in the Airthings app) of any Airthings indoor air quality devices products, except Wave Mini and Bundles (or other Products specifically excluded) (“Products”) only on airthings.com. The Referral Discount may only be used on New Customer’s first purchase as an Airthings account holder and may not be used together with other discount offers, such as Black Friday deals, Flash deals, or other discounts offered by Airthings.. The Referral Discount shall not apply to services or other products. The maximum discount is $20, €20, £20, or CA$20 (or other currencies/amounts depending on the country) on the New Customer’s first order, regardless of whether New Customer buys one or more Products in the order.
  3. Airthings entity. The Airthings’ entity responsible for providing the Referral Discount is as follows:

    2. In EU: Airthings AB, Elektrogatan 10 171 54, Solna, Stockholm Sweden
    3. In EEA, UK: Airthings ASA, Wergelandsveien 7, 0167 Oslo, Norway
    4. Canada: Airthings ASA or its authorized partner, RN222.
  4. Personal Information: Information about Referrer and New Customer collected from participation is subject to Airthings’ Privacy Notice: https://www.airthings.com/en/legal/privacy-notice
  5. Proper Use of Referral Discount and Disqualification: The Referral Discount may only be shared by Referrer with New Customers as specified in clause 1 above and may only be used by New Customers as specified in clause 2, and all uses by both must comply with these Terms, be lawful, and be non-fraudulent. Referrer or New Customer may be disqualified from the Program, have all discounts forfeited, or be banned from the Program, in Airthings’ sole discretion. The Referrer is not allowed to share the personal code by posting it, or having third parties post it, on websites accessible to the public (including coupon sites and similar sites), using it in paid advertisements, or spamming or providing it to people who they do not know. Airthings reserves the right to determine whether a New Customer is qualified to use the Referral Discount, in its sole discretion, and can deactivate or invalidate any Referral Discounts in its sole discretion at any time.
  6. Airthings reserves the right to substitute, change, cancel, or add to any part of these Terms and may terminate the Program or any or all Referral Discounts or modify these Terms at any time. Airthings reserves the right to freeze accounts suspected of fraudulent actions or in the case of creation of multiple accounts. If membership is canceled due to fraudulent actions, the Referral Discounts will be invalid.

The Program and Referral Discounts are void where prohibited or restricted by law. Referral Discounts have no cash value and are not redeemable for cash. If a New Customer returns a Product(s) on an order that used a Referral Discount, the Referral Discount will not be refunded.
