Airthings Wave Radon devices will be the second Airthings radon monitoring device offered at The Home Depot
(Oslo, Norway – June 16, 2023) Airthings, the global leader in indoor air quality monitoring and energy-saving solutions, announces a planned rollout of their Wave Radon, smart radon monitoring devices, with The Home Depot, the world's largest home improvement retailer.
Wave Radon is a digitally connected indoor air monitor measuring radon, humidity, and temperature, syncing live readings with the Airthings app via Bluetooth.
Known for their large collection of smoke detection and carbon monoxide devices, The Home Depot is now expanding their range of radon monitoring devices to complement their home safety category. The Home Depot is a key retail partner for Airthings. This marks Airthings' second radon monitoring device available in-store and online at The Home Depot.
According to the EPA, there are 82 million households in states where radon concentrations may pose a risk. As consumers are becoming more aware of the health risks associated with long-term exposure to radon gas, the leading cause of lung cancer for non-smokers, The Home Depot can now serve consumers and provide the same piece of mind that carbon monoxide detectors play in a home. Radon gas and carbon monoxide (CO) are both tasteless, odorless gasses that human senses cannot detect without the help of a monitoring system.
The Wave Radon device will be available in-store at The Home Depot starting in July and is also available online.
